MAD ABOUT THE HOUSE TO PAVILION

KATE WATSON-SMYTH is the author of the UK's top interiors Blog www.madaboutthehouse.com (Vuelio 2015 and 2016) and syndicated every Friday in I-paper.  Her book - coming March 2018 - is something I have been looking for for ages - not a glossy inspirational coffee table item but a guide for those overwhelmed by pinterest. This is a book that will guide you through each room of the house explaining how to make the most of light and space and colour and how to have your home make your heart sing. Equally relevant to the renter of a small flat to the owner of a big house, Kate's voice and wisdom will make this a friendly, informative and indispensable book. Can't wait!

 PRUE LEITH AND BAKE OFF

Well last week was certainly a high-profile one for Prue! She's still waiting to hear news about whether or not she's to be a 'Bake Off' judge alongside Paul Hollywood. At this moment she's on holiday and she's finishing her new novel, the final part of her FOOD OF LOVE trilogy. (If she gets the BO job she will be rather too busy for fiction..)  The paperback of THE PRODIGAL DAUGHTER (vol 2) comes out in May and there's a great deal of Prue's own life there. It's a brilliant evocation of 60s and 70s London and Paris with a wonderfully feisty heroine - a lot of passion and a lot of cooking!

SARAH GOVETT AND THE TERRITORY WIN GATESHEAD YA PRIZE

Thrilled to announce Sarah Govett has joined the agency and we will be representing the final book in her outstanding trilogy THE TERRITORY. The first volume won the Gateshead YA prize (chosen by local schools) this weekend.

Reviews are quite remarkable for a first novel

THE 1984 OF OUR TIME - Guardian

BEST YA BOOKS OF 2015 - Telegraph

GRIPPING DYSTOPIA WITH A KEEN POLITICAL EDGE - Metro

Sarah has a rare ability to combine vast and important themes - climate change; results based education - with characters with utterly convincing teen concerns and relationships. She's a huge new talent.
