CONGRATULATIONS TO MIKI BERENYI! Her sensational memoir FINGERS CROSSED (Nine Eight Books, Bonnier) was announced as winner of this year’s ROUGH TRADE BOOK OF THE YEAR today. There were several seriously brilliant books on the shortlist so to be the ONE from that field is a triumph. This is much much more than a book about a band.
